Flying Paws is a non profit 501(c)3
corporation that was conceived from the need
for The Flying Paws organization is 'Wings of Hope' for companion animals (dogs, cats, birds, small exotics, rabbits and other small animals) and those who care for them. Our volunteers combine the wonderful worlds of flying and animal rescue to help animal friends in need. Any organized rescue group, veterinarian or recognized animal care organization may contact Flying Paws concerning transport of their special needs animal. Flying Paws will NOT transport to any KILL, PET STORE, RESEARCH or BREEDING facility. Flying Paws exists specifically to help animals in need, who are part of the rescue or family environment. Flying Paws is not a replacement for ground transportation but an additional resource when time or circumstances do not allow for ground transportation. Animals must be in a safe, secure environment before flight arrangements can be made. Flying Paws is an organization of pilots who volunteer their time and aircraft to assist animal rescue organizations in emergency air transportation of small animals in crisis situations. How YOU can help needy animals through Flying Paws... 1. Volunteer Love animals ... and love to fly? Volunteer pilots are needed who have planes, or access to planes, that can be used for companion animal rescue / transport. Flying Paws is comprised entirely of volunteers and restricted only by the physical geographic boundaries of our volunteer base. Your participation could not only help rescue and transport needy companion animals, but you could help expand the reach & scope of these vital services. Donate Donations made to Flying Paws are used exclusively to provide for the animal rescue flights. Corporate sponsors cover all operational and promotion expenses. It is the belief and goal of Flying Paws that 100% of the donated funds go directly for the transport these needy animals. All donations are tax deductible and gratefully accepted. Animals that are transported by Flying Paws to safety or forever homes are the sole beneficiaries of your donations. Information on Donating 3. Sponsor Individual and corporate sponsors are needed to support the efforts of this organization and to help off set operational costs. Sponsors can commit from $100 to $5,000 annually. Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum sponsors receive the tax deduction*, copies of Flying Paws Newsletter, promotional acknowledgment, certificates of sponsorship, and the undying gratitude of these rescued animals. Individuals, groups, and organizations are desperately needed to solicit pilot volunteers with access to planes for rescue flights and spread the word about Flying Paws services.
