Information and Application for Volunteer Pilots

Flying Paws is cooperating with various rescue groups and veterinarians to develop a network of pilots and planes who can help with transport of an animal from coast to coast.  The volunteers work through Flying Paws to the transport of animals as swift and secure as possible.  Help us get the word out about Flying Paws.  We need additional volunteers!

A number of requests have come in for transport that Flying Paws is unable to fill at this time.  These needs will be met as new pilots and planes are located.  You can help with this need by keeping your ears tuned to locating pilots who are animal lovers and would-be volunteers.  As the Flying Paws network grows so will our region of service.

Flying Paws is looking for animal loving pilots who are current in both flying skills and medical.  The pilots should own or have access to a plane or a friend who flies and wants to be part of an animal rescue. Single engine or multi-engine aircraft, VFR or IFR aircraft are all welcome.

Flying Paws Pilot Application, Pilot Information and Liability Waiver need to be completed and on file with Flying Paws before any participation in any animal transport through this organization.

Please contact us for additional information.  We are  a non profit 501(c)3 corporation.  Check with your CPA to ensure that any flight you provide can be taken off of your taxes as a donation.

    Blue dots are states where we have volunteers today.  Red dots are states where we are working with pilots who have inquired about Flying Paws.  Yellow states are areas where we are looking for pilot contacts.
